Urgent Behavioral Health Care — Immediate, Compassionate, Local

Urgent Care Behavioral Health Services is a collaboration between the Human Development Center, Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment, and Children’s Dental Services. Our goal is to provide immediate support for mental health and substance use crises, stabilize individuals and families, and connect them with long-term solutions.
Population Served
A person of any age experiencing a mental health crisis and/or substance use crisis who needs additional resources and stabilization services. Individuals requiring care beyond what our services provide will be assisted in accessing the appropriate level of care.

Inclusion Criteria

  • A person with a mental and/or chemical health crisis
  • A person needing connection to community resources who could benefit from short-term stabilization services while waiting for connection to ongoing supports

Exclusion Criteria

  • Medically unstable and in need of a higher level of care
  • Intoxicated and needs detox services
  • Homicidal ideation with intent or threatening behavior
  • Suicidal with plan and means to execute plan
  • Extreme agitation and threats to harm self or others

CADT Services

  • Walk-in Suboxone and SUD assessments (Mon–Fri)
  • Medical cannabis certification & nicotine prescriptions
  • Vivitrol, naltrexone, and comfort meds
  • Immediate detox & referrals to high-intensity treatment
  • Support for pregnant clients
  • Telehealth options

Children’s Dental Services

  • Dental care for individuals birth–26 and pregnant people
  • Exams, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and more
  • Culturally sensitive, trauma-informed oral health education
